Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, display name, account settings, and the books or audiobooks you save. Saved content may include titles, authors, release dates, cover images, retailer links, purchase and reading status, ratings, reviews, notes, recaps, and listening progress.

We also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as authentication records, browser or device information, IP address, request logs, and essential session data.

How we use information

• Create and secure your account.
• Save, organize, back up, and display your book and audiobook collection.
• Send account verification and password-reset messages.
• Import and refresh release information from links you choose to provide.
• Diagnose problems, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, or account-deletion requests.

Service providers and third-party links

TBR Soon uses service providers to operate the site, including Supabase for account authentication and data storage, Resend for transactional email, and ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and delivery. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.

When you open a link to Amazon, Audible, or another third-party website, that site receives information under its own privacy policy. TBR Soon is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

Cookies, analytics, advertising, and affiliate links

TBR Soon currently uses only technology necessary for account sign-in, security, preferences, and core site operation. We do not currently run paid advertising, participate in an affiliate-link program, or use visitor analytics for advertising or cross-site tracking.

If analytics, advertising, or affiliate links are introduced, this policy will be updated and any legally required notice or consent choices will be provided. Affiliate links will be clearly disclosed.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to run TBR Soon, when you direct us to share content, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or others. A readable list is shared only when you choose the sharing feature.

Storage, retention, and security

We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain security. Deleted information may remain temporarily in routine backups before being removed through the normal backup cycle.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete individual saved titles within TBR Soon and download a restorable backup from Settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information, email tbrsoontbr@gmail.com. We may need to verify that you control the account before completing a request.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

TBR Soon is intended only for people age 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us so the account and associated information can be reviewed and removed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TBR Soon changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when an update takes effect. Material changes may also be announced within the site or by email when appropriate.
